A spokesman in Congressman Tom Latham’s office says the lawmaker voted against incentives for election verification because the bill would be a “costly redundant federal program.”

[Commentary] I attended the Democratic caucuses last night in Iowa City and recorded the results. Our precinct was allotted 9 delegates and over 500 caucusers showed up in the cold.

Iowa gains plaudits for Election Day registration
