Harkin may introduce slavery apology bill

Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin may introduce a slavery apology bill in the Senate, according to the sponsor of the House version.
Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., told the Washington Post that Harkin is considering sponsoring the Senate version. Cohen’s bill passed the House on a voice vote this week.
