State Board Decision Due Oct. 11 on Waterloo Coal Plant Annex

A decision on a proposed annexation to Waterloo is expected Oct. 11. The City Development Board, a state commission, tabled a vote on the proposal after a five-hour hearing in Waterloo last week, giving members time to consider whether the annexation would comply with state law.
