		<description>&lt;strong&gt;why keep VA hospitals and clinics?&lt;/strong&gt; I may sound like the devil&#039;s advocate here, but are the VA hospitals and clinics the best use of taxpayer dollars? Why don&#039;t we just provide veterans with free health insurance so they can go to a regular doctor or hospital when they need care, rather than travel who knows how far to go to a VA hospital/clinic? I like Richardson&#039;s idea of a &quot;hero&#039;s card&quot; that vets could use to see the doctor of their choice.</description>
