There is such a flux of commitment to Ds and Rs at all levels, court house to White House, i the 5th District that it is difficult to tell how people will land on Hubler for Congress. There may be much more intellectual curiosity among the Indepdendents than most recognize which would spell a squeaker for Hubler. God speed Rob Hubler, bring America back to the 5th.

You uppity 'intellectuals' to the east can continue to bend over and take it from the likes of Tokyo Tom and Stockpile Boswell but don't tell us how to vote.

Trippi wrote one lame post on Daily Kos. End of story. He could have done a lot more and didn't. I don't understand why he signed on unless he wants to take credit if the blue tsunami washes King out to sea.

I've been so disappointed that the netroots continue to raise more money for El Tinklenberg than he can effectively spend in the remaining days of the campaign. I predict he will finish the race with money in the bank while four or five of our under-funded challengers fall just short.

Some of us Iowa bloggers have tried to raise the profile of the fifth district race, but we have so many good pickup opportunities across the country that it's hard to get people outside Iowa to give to Hubler.

Trippi has done little than I can see to raise Rob's profile, although he may be doing things behind the scenes that I'm not aware of.
