That this problem comes as a surprise is hard to believe with the amount of information available and even discussed in the House (ala Ron Paul ) months and even years ago. That these problems weren't dealt with in a timely fashion is a condemnation of BOTH major political parties. Look at the biggest contributors to either major candidate. The same names we've been seeing daily in the financials. Smells like "conflict of interest" to me. Or what's called lobbying these days. No part of this problem lies with congress, Mr. Loebsack?
