I do not care if a candidate is a war hero, I do not care is a candidate is a republican or a democrat. I do not care if a candidate is black or white. All I care about is the candidate intelligent enough to get this nation out of the mess we are in now.

I am an Arizona Republican but I will not be voting for John McCain. Why? Because, with the problems in the US and the world is facing today the nation needs intelligence in the White House.

Lets see my choice is John McCain or that smart black man Barack Obama?

McCain who does not know how to use a computer but is willing to learn if we elect him – I’ll just vote for that smart black man.

My Choices are: John McCain who says the economic downturn is psychological? - Na! I'll vote for the smart black man.

McCain who says you are better off under George Bush? - Nope I'll vote for the smart black man.

Mc Cain who wants to continue killing more people looking for weapons of mass destruction that do not exist? - Gee! I'll vote for the smart black man.

McCain who believes that we should stay the course but is not willing to support the people he puts in harms way. - I'll take a chance on the smart black man.

Should I vote for a man that does not know that 9-11 was caused by Osama Bin Laden not Sedam Hussein? - Easy! I'll vote for the smart black man.

Vote for the man who does not know if the Sunnis or Sheits are our enemies? - No way I'll vote for the smart black man.

Vote for the man who helped put our government on the China, Saudi Arabia credit card? - Not a chance I'll vote for the smart black man.

Vote for the man with the worst temper in the Senate to have his finger on the nuclear button? - No way - I’M VOTING FOR THE SMART BLACK MAN, Barack Obama.

How would Dr. Gupta advise Sarah Palin.....

Dear Doctor Gupta,

I just love your show “House Call” on CNN. I try to watch every weekend as I really respect your medical knowledge and your no-nonsense advice to viewers. Now I have a very important medical question of my own to ask you.

I’m eight months pregnant. I’m sitting here in my hotel room in Dallas, Texas, its 4 a.m., and I think I might be going into labor. This is my 5th pregnancy so I know labor signs when I see them. But here’s my real dilemma. I have a very, very important political speech that I really want to give later today before flying back to my home in Alaska. So, here’s my question, Dr. Gupta. Do you think I would be wise to immediately check into one of the many excellent medical centers here in Dallas and get examined? Or, do you think it would be ok to stick around the hotel in order to deliver my important political speech? Once I finish the speech, I plan on catching the next flight back to Alaska where I can be examined by my personal physician. Yes I know, Dr. Gupta, I’m probably not demonstrating the best judgment in flying around the country when 8 months pregnant due to cabin pressure fluctuations, possible severe turbulence, etc. And, yes, I’m fully aware of the fact that I certainly should not be boarding a plane if there is even a remote chance that I'm starting labor. But, I’ve been told many times by many people that I don’t look pregnant. Plus, I don’t plan on notifying the airline or the flight attendants of my condition, so nobody will ever know. I fully realize something horribly could go wrong if I start to deliver at 38,000 feet and there are complications. But, I’m confident the pilot will be able to sit the plane down within minutes and I’d be rushed to a nearby hospital.

Well, Dr. Gupta, what do you recommend I do? Get examined here as soon as possible and risk being hospitalized and thus not being able to make my big political speech? Or, hang around the hotel and make my speech and then run to the airport?

By the way, the total flight time to Alaska is only around 10 hours. And, my doctor is only about an hours’ drive from the Anchorage airport. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that I have a high risk pregnancy. I’m 44 years old and I've been told my baby has Down syndrome.

But, the most important factor I want you to consider when responding to me is this: I strongly believe in Family Values and the most important thing in my life right now is the well being of my unborn baby. Absolutely nothing ranks higher.

Hope to hear from you real soon, Dr. Gupta! Oh, one last thing. If I don’t answer my cell phone when you call, just leave a message. I’ll probably be practicing my political speech!

Sincerely yours,

Anonymous

http://www.adn.com/626/story/382864.html

http://www.opednews.com/maxwrite/diarypage.php?...

I am a 60 year old, registered Republican grandmother from Sedona, AZ. It’s funny how your world view changes when you have precious grandchildren. The reason I am supporting Barack Obama is because I feel that John McCain is out of touch with Arizona and the American people. As an Arizona Republican I received a fundraising letter from the McCain campaign. I sent it back with a note that says I will donate exactly the same amount that John McCain has requested in earmarks for our state. McCain’s call to fame is that he is the only representative in Washington never to request any earmarks for his home state. What does that prove? In my estimation John McCain has been the laziest representative in Washington in the last 26 years! To me it shows that in McCain’s mind Arizona does not need any assistance from Washington. He is happy to see all the tax dollars that we send to DC go to other states. Arizona has Indian Reservations with unemployment over 60%. Wouldn’t a call center in Indian Country be better then one in INDIA? We have beautiful rural areas that would greatly benefit from an increase in tourism. McCain’s lack of concern for Arizona shows that when John and Cindy fly over our state in their private plane that they do not pay attention to the people that live outside of Scottsdale. Lets see if in November the citizens of Arizona will send him a message and not vote for him. So this educated, white, Christian, Republican grandmother will be donating, ZERO, NOTHING, NONE, NADA! To the McCain Campaign. I did donate to the Obama campaign….
