King’s conference to feature possible 2012ers, National Organization for Marriage

Three potential Republican presidential hopefuls, a handful of conservative leaders and the anti-gay National Organization for Marriage will participate in a conference organized by U.S. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) next month in Des Moines.

The Conservative Principles Conference will be held March 26 at the Downtown Des Moines Marriott. The main topic with be “American exceptionalism.”

“Iowans will be granted access to some of the best, most respected conservative leaders in our nation at my conference,” King said in a statement.

Attendees include:

  • U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann
  • Herman Cain
  • Ambassador John R. Bolton
  • Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds
