Now that he is riding shotgun for Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama, it will be fascinating to see if Joe Biden remains comfortable in that role. In Iowa campaign stops, Biden, a veteran U.S. senator from Delaware, made it clear he didn’t think the rest of the field was in league.
In reponse to questions from Iowa Independent during the Memorial Day weekend in 2007, Biden said the following:
I made a judgment — maybe I’m wrong — that I’m the single most qualified person in either party at this moment to help change the direction of this country, particularly in foreign policy.
Look, I’m going to get myself in trouble here. I don’t want to live in the White House.
