King calls health reform repeal ‘only option for patriots’

By Jason Hancock | 04.01.10 | 8:09 am

U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Kiron, was one of the first Republicans to introduce legislation calling for the outright repeal of health care reform legislation signed into law last week. And while some leaders of his party are beginning to question whether running on repeal could hurt them this fall, King remains steadfast.

On his Twitter account, King made it clear that the only path forward in his mind is to repeal the entire bill.

100% Repeal of Obamacare is only option for Patriots, Constitutionalists, Federalists, fiscally responsibles, & Liberty lovers. HR 4972 King

King currently has 40 co-sponsors for his bill, which consists of one sentence: “Effective as of the enactment of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, such Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted.”

What a sadly twisted sense of patriotism.

Health reform is a wise and the only chance for the voters to see if the White House can learn from its mistakes.Everybody needs to understand that its not about republicans or democratics its all about the health care of American people.
