Ad hominems from the Nutter Zone again, I see.

Some of us like to know the back story. There doesn't seem to be a 'rule' requiring reporting on the final vote only (at least I didn't see it in The Associated Press Stylebook and Briefing on Media Law...I didn't check Chicago). Perhaps you imagined it, or maybe the meds haven't kicked in yet.

It could be that a bunch of repubs really tried hard to stop this thing, and when they failed they also capitulated for political cover. Yep, they voted against it before they voted for it. They reason like Kerry because they're in the same biz and that's how the game is played. Your ilk will claim in the end that they voted for it in some circles, but to their like-minded base they'll claim they really tried hard to stop it. Chase just called 'em on it. It only seems bad to you because this time your methodology was used against you. Sorry 'bout that...not.

Oh, and Watch - you're a douche.

Wow, some people's kids...

Chase -- you are an idiot -- you are saying he voted against it before he voted for it?!?!? (sounds like you gots the John Kerry reasoning there) I think you are falling all over yourself with your hate for the GOP. Seems like the rule is that if someobe votes for an actual bill then they voted for it. The rule could have contained a whole bunch of things that people would have voted against -- including briging a bill up without going through the proper procedures. Is it just me or has the Iowa "independent" taken a serious turn away from that with Chase leading the way?
