Mike Leckband, a columnist with the Cherokee Chronicle Times, endorses 5th District Democratic Congressional candidate Rob Hubler in a column today.

Hubler is challenging U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.

Here is Leckband:

I’m tired of our district being a joke, and I feel that Hubler would bring some well-deserved respect back to our district, like former Rep. Berkley Bedell did.

Maybe we can even get Hwy. 20 completed before I become a grandfather. We have tough choices to be made for our future, and it would be nice to have a leader and not just a person who enjoys making inflammatory comments and does not think before he opens his mouth.

It would also be nice for once to have someone to represents us who is not a national joke. I feel that Hubler will do just that.
