A good case in point in 1976 most of the Union County Central Committee supported Jimmy Carter.  I didn't and that didn't stop me from organizing in Union County for Morris Udall.  If I could do it then so could anyone that supported William in this race in 2008.

I voted for William in the primary.  I thought he had a compelling story and had the best chance to beat Latham.  But he lost now is the time to join Becky Greenwald and work to put a Democrat in the House.

Now Mr Meyers is throwing a temper tantrum and going to run as an independent.  He only got 13% of the vote.  He only escaped coming in last by about 200 votes.  He will get money from Republicans as they try to drag votes away from Ms Greenwald.  All he will end up doing is supporting Tom Latham.  Alot of the 2300 votes he got in the primary will not stay with him in the general election

If William wants to run then run.  But this will be a decision that he will regret if he ever decides to run again as a Democrat

I believe in using integrity to keep a business or party in check.  Good for him, the future candidates of his district depend upon strong willed individuals to ensure integrity is maintained!

Greenwald won because she was a stronger candidate and more importantly because the voters prefered her.

It's good that Meyers doesn't care about his political future because he isn't likely to have one if he runs as an independent.

“She doesn't have any real ideas,” he said. “She's just saying what she's been told to say by the party, and we are already represented by a rubber stamp. I don't want to elect someone like that again.”

She has achieved a lot in life for a woman who apparently has no ideas and has to be told what to say.

That kind of insult doesn't reflect well on William Meyers.
