Don't believe the T-P! Your first mistake was believing what the T-P said about Jindal. The T-P editorial staff are a bunch of shills for Bobby Jindal and their endorsements of him are oft filled with either misrepresentations of the truth or statements that are basically pulled from his campaign staff.

And I guarantee you that there would at least be one person out of the many people who worship Jindal who would not think twice about making Bobby Jindal President with a single pull of a trigger.

The bottom line is this, Obama is way to smart to even consider Jindal as a choice for V-P. I also highly doubt that Jindal would say anything that would promote a "liberal".

Jindal constitutionally too young At 36, isn't Bobby Jindal too young to meet the constitutional minimum age for president and vice-president? Isn't the constitutional minimum age 45?

I don't think we need a constitutional issue distracting the voters during the next election (unless it happens to be on the other side).

Lugar maybe, other Republicans no way I could see Lugar as a one-term VP. If anything happened to Obama then Lugar could do a pretty convincing LBJ carrying out the Obama legacy and I think Lugar is a decent enough man to look at the job in that fashion. Every other Republican on the list — no way.

Richardson has been short-listed for VP before For whatever reason, Gore and Kerry took a pass on him.

Kerry didn't like Edwards personally, yet still selected him over Richardson.

I suspect Obama would take a pass on Richardson as well.

I'd love to see Richardson in the cabinet, though.

no Republicans--no way Not a heartbeat away from the presidency. If anything happened to Obama we'd have two or three more Alitos on the Supreme Court.

No Republicans on the ticket.

I think Obama has to pick someone with foreign policy heft if he wins the nomination. I doubt Clark would agree to be his VP because he is so close to the Clintons.

If I were Obama, I would choose someone like Biden or Dodd.
