Dodd is the only candidate who has changed wartorn and strife ridden countries to peaceful nations with his extensive work in Northern Ireland and Central America. You never hear about those hot spots in the news anymore, thanks to the good work of Senator Dodd. The Bush administration couldn't even pull that off.

Americans want a President who can bring both parties together. This has been promised by Barack Obama, but it has actually been done by Christopher Dodd. Dodd has consistenty reached out to republicans, conservative republicans mind you, to consponsor landmark legislation like the FMLA, the Combating Autism Act and the Federal Childcare Act. Obama has never done that. He just says he will do it as president. Obama claims to “walk the walk”. When you compare Obama to Senator Dodd it's Obama who is only “talking the talk” because Dodd has truly gotten the results and “walked the walk” to bring partisans together to accomplish change.

Senator Clinton says she is the most experienced because she has battled the Republicans for 16 years. How about a candidate like Senator Dodd, who can actually win these battles. Senator Clinton also cites her experience as a child advocate for 35 years. That's great, but Senator Dodd is the one they call “The Children's Senator” and its a well deserved title.

Finally, John Edwards has been using a populist message, unlike his first go round 4 years ago, and says he will stop corruption and corporate greed in Washington. Again, where are the results John? Last week, in the middle of a Presidential campaign Senator Dodd fought and DEFEATED corruption and corporate greed by stopping retroactive immunity for big time telecommunications companies who allowed the Bush administration to wiretap Americans private communications without a Court ordered subpeona. Dodd, again, got results. The FISA bill was stopped. Passing it would have been a terrible injustice and a trampling on our rights. Dodd has fought to restore Habeas Corpus and restore our Constitution. Dodd reminds me of our state motto: “Our Liberties We Will Prize and Our Rights We Will Maintain”.
