[Commentary] The Hotline posted this video a few days ago, but for those who haven't seen it, you should definitely check it out. It tells the tale (or perhaps tail) of then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani banning the ferrets of New York in 1999.
It pokes fun at a humorous issue (how many of us own a ferret? how many of us know anyone who owns a ferret?) while addressing a very real concern that progressives have with Giuliani–that he has a sharp authoritarian streak in him (that's actually what makes him appealing to conservatives).
At the end of the video, one ferret says that a Giuliani presidency would mean "The whole world, the whole country would become a cage." Indeed. I'm with you, my furry friend.
