It is unfortunate that you base your personal committed relationship on the committed relationships of others. I would have hoped that before entering into such a sacred union, you would have made sure that the relationship was strong and built on it's own foundation, not the relative worth compared to others.

LOL… you are too funny. I love how you make the ridiculous argument “arent the gay activists oppressing the christians the right to keep marriage….” when you are completely out of touch with reality. Your religious institution can keep it's religious marriage however it wants. You apparently didn't read the supreme court decision, or read it and skipped over the parts that specifically addressed the differences between law and religion. I invite you to re-read it, and then come back to the conversation with facts and knowledge.

How is your initial premise of wanting to be anything relevant? How does a bonding of two people equate to you wanting to be a ballerina? Are you not able to be a ballerina because of your gender? You have the right to call yourself spacepope if you want…you don't need to have a law passed to call yourself a ballerina, you can just do so. Whether or not you have any ability or talent doesn't preclude you from calling yourself a ballerina. Whether anyone gives a shit what you call yourself is an entirely different issue. Whether or not anyone will pay attention to your dancing (or lack thereof) is yet another. Why do you want to be a ballerina in the first place? When did they stop teaching critical thinking, logic, rhetoric, etc in school? Have you considered taking ballet classes? Perhaps you can LEARN to dance, instead of whining about your inability to dance. How do we even know you can't dance…have you tried? “Cant”, or “Wont”? You know who's a great ballerina? Phyllis Spira. She's a 'prima ballerina assolutas', the highest rank in the form. You could look her up and maybe get some pointers. In this state, you have the right to try!
