I enjoyed this well written, even-handed article

It would have been nice if you had at least mentioned that the forum was produced by Public Access Television, especially since it looks as if your image here was a still pulled from the program that I shot and edited.

We independent media outlets need to look out for each other. I'll do my due diligence in promoting this blog site.

Old enough... ...to vote. Old enough to enter into contracts. Old enough to be tried as an adult. Old enough to be required by law (with severe penalties for failing to do so) to register for a draft. Old enough to buy and own a gun. Old enough to fight (and potentially die) for one's country.

Not old enough to have a beer? Not old enough to peaceably assemble? What a sad commentary on our country, and Iowa City in particular. Those wacky prohibitionists are on the loose, listening to the voices in their heads again (still?). Ah, un-fun-damentalists...they must be thanking their invisible friends for the Taliban for making them look sane by comparison.
