Thompson's promise is already fading I like Thompson alot, and originally had high hopes for him. So far he's disapointing conservatives more than wooing though. Huckabee on the other hand getting stronger and stronger. He has executive leadership experience as well as tremendous potential. His solid conservative values are based on principle, he has great new ideas and a habit of getting things done.

Huckabee is genuine and honest, he sticks to his principles and he's the only one that can actually unite the party without trying to be what he's not. You can't please everyone all the time, but Huckabee comes closest on the most important issues, and does so with integrity. The reason he can do that is because he's a true servant leader - his campaign is not about what's best for Mike, it's about what's best for America.

As more Americans get to know him they're going like Mike too!

http://mikehuckabeep...

The Perfect Candidate Sorry, the 'perfect' candidate doesn't exist. I'm really leary of anyone that promises utopia and there's plenty of candidates that think American's have become stupid enough to buy that false hope. Gov. Huckabee gives those with a conscious someone that they can support. In reality there are some major issues to be dealt with, including a congress that has done nothing. But even more importantly is a new approach on problems from the bottom up...like keeping the traditional'family' a family. I am vigorously supporting Mike as Whoever 'wins' this impossible job is going to need Heaven's Help. Go Huck!

Have you checked out Huckabee? For all the reasons that you support Fred Thompson, I think you may be pleasantly surprised by Governor Huckabee. Have you checked him out? He is an authentic conservative with 10 1/2 years of executive experience, as the governor of Arkansas, that bears it out. If you are looking for "a little of the good old days of faith and family", know that Mike Huckabee's campaign slogan is "Faith. Family. Freedom." And this guy's not just talk! As a former minister, he has a heart for people and families and he is real. He shares our values. As for bringing America back together, Huckabee speaks to left-leaning groups as well as the right. He does not change who he is as he talks to different people, and many respect his integrity. I'm reading comments on the web from Democrats who respect him, who will vote for him if their preferred democratic candidate does not make it, or who all-out support him as their first choice. If you haven't checked him out, start at www.mikehuckabee.com.
Arthur Branch in 2008? Thompson gets it? Or do you mean Arthur Branch gets it?

Quit your Ron Paul tactics for a moment and start thinking about the situation at hand. Huckabee appeals to the conservative grassroots base that has been disenfranchised and disenchanted by lobbyists like Thompson. Huckabee also appeals to moderates and he's not afraid to talk to liberals. Thompson can't claim any of that, he appeals to people who vote on name recognition.

If we're going to stand a shot at winning in 2008, we need to get behind Huckabee.

www.ktracy.com</p>

Fred Thompson in 2008! Senator Fred Thompson is the only major candidate that gets it. He makes decisions based on principles. You have to stand for something and not change who you are based on the polls. That is what Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani have done and all of the Democrats do it. Give me a leader that will stand by his principles anyday versus someone that stands for everything.

I know many, many Republicans that will stay home if Rudy Giuliani is the candidate in the general election. He does not represent our values as Conservatives, and never will. Mitt Romney is a RINO (though I'm sure a very nice man) that simply has everything else and nothing to do.
