Not that his opinion is likely to weigh heavily on the ultimate decision made by Democratic leaders in the U.S. Senate, but Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley thinks Roland Burris, the man appointed by tainted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich to replace President-elect Barack Obama in the legislature, should be seated.

“He’s got a perfect right to have that seat and be seated,” Grassley said.
