The Republican Party of Iowa State Central Committee will be holding a public forum Saturday at 10 a.m. for candidates interested in the party’s chair and co-chair positions.

The forum was originally scheduled for Dec. 27 but was postponed due to bad weather.

The Central Committee will pick the party’s new leader at a meeting Jan. 10. Eight men have publicly announced that they are seeking the position.

The forum will be held at the Republican Party of Iowa headquarters, 621 E 9th St, Des Moines.
